"Dark electro rock tracks with a goth feel. The beats are strong and the vocals are a great fit for the music itself. The chorses are catchy and the piano and key sections give depth to the album. Inventive vocal tracking. The songs are all very full and have a sense of ambience. The songs get diverse and certain tracks bring a straight pop aspect to the cd. Good mix and good production. Good guitar work, layering lead parts and general progressions show experience in the song writing. This band does not hold back when writing tracks and that’s important. The album is pop, goth rock with diverse aspects and creativity. "

      I sent this song to my producer/mixing engineer, Steve G., (Destiny's child, Sugar Ray, Uncle Cracker) at around Midnight on a weekday/  I had just written it and I think I woke him up with the Email alert.  I asked him to take his time and listen to the song two or three times.  Minutes later, I got this back:
"Cliff, I Listened One time.  I cried.  Send me the tracks."
This song was shopped directly to the OC series, in 2005, but the show was cancelled.
 I often want to redo this song, beef it up, but then I read these types of reviews which makes me believe it is truly complete...

     "I have to say that the production is perfect for this track and you have no need to fear people focusing on the quality of the production when you've created something as evocative, as stark and wonderful as this song. Fantastic. "

     "This song is short and sweet. I like the fact that it is so straight to the point. One of those songs that have soul and a true meaning. Its not necessarily about some girl breakup, or some telephone call, or cliche themes. I primarily like this song due to the simple piano, and the harmonized vocals towards the end. The vocalist seems pretty confident in his voice, and can hit the notes he needs to, and that to me makes it sound great. There wasn't much to this song other than a piano and a guy, which is stripped down and strong. I like the fact that its made for thinking, and not winning a girl back. Nicely done. "
